Competition
I'm gonna be straight with you guys. I am miserable. No getting around it, no point denying it!
So I'm going to steal one of Chris' ideas. Above is a picture of Meiko.
Give me a caption! And I will send the winner yarn. And timtams. Or possibly gluten free treats, depending.
Go on, cheer me up, I dare you!

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. :D
Let's see... "Just come a little closer, I dare ya. You think I'm sleeping, but I have the Paw O' Death armed and ready if I get any guff from you."
Yarn? Did someone say yarn?
Hmmmm....I wish I knew what the green thing was, but anyway!
"Must. come. up. for. breather. I knew I shouldn't have eaten that tuna...it smelled a LITTLE off."
My caption:
"Feigning sleep, the mighty Meiko hopes to lure its prey, both tuna and yarn, into a false sense of security."
"Kilroy, er, Meiko was, er, is HERE."
"You know mom... #76 on your list may apply to me too. So watch it when you want to cuddle woman."
"Hmmm - smells green, doesn't look like broccoli, but it could still be good-for-you and it's not tuna, think I'll give that one a miss..."
"Move? Why should I move? I RULE this house. Now quit bugging me while I nap. Unless you're carrying a platter of tuna."
I'm too cute for my box,
too cute for my box,
Being cute rocks!
Dave, stop that!! I am not going to send you yarn! Consider yourself disqualified, sunshine!
Ah, here she comes. Now she's sitting down. Has she seen it? No. Waaaait. Waaaait. Aha! She's stepped in it. I knew under the computer desk was the best place to vomit.
Hehehehehehehe!
I so want you to send Dave yarn. And then sit on him until he knits something out of it. Complete with a photo of all stages of his WIP until it's a FO.
I'd cheer you up but I'm sick and I have a ton of work and must stay here forever (and longer if I don't get busy on it). On the plus side? Kitty cats. It's sooooo very nice to have a kitty cat around.
"Ah, it falling together nicely. Soon the next phase in my plan of world domination will be complete. Bwah-ha-ha!"
I'll never get through all the Enid Blyton books in this box,
so I'll have to just lick them.
Camera Flash Brings Pain!
I'll eat your toes when I can see again.
Hmm.. if I sit up here and pretend I'm asleep she might open that sock yarn box and I can pounce. Ah but it is cozy - oh so sleepy..zzzzzzzzzzzz...
"Must hone physic powers... move tuna wih mind...."
"Whew! Being adored by bloggers far and wide is exhausting!"
Just imagine a big empty thought bubble over her head, ala Gary Larson and the Far Side in "What cats hear when we speak to them."
Shhh! Be vewy vewy qwiet...I'm hunting invisible mice...or maybe that ball of yarn over there...or maybe I'll just *yaaawn*....
(Without reading any other entries)
"Ah, foolish mortal, you think you see me sleeping? Meet Judge Paw!"
(But I don't really need to win any yarn :-)
Ow! Purplexity, that one was too close for comfort! I should explain to others that Meiko was sharpening her claws on a carboard box in the library (unbeknownst to me). When she finished shredding the box, she kept going on the books inside the box - a stack of original vintage Enid Blyton books.
Heehee. You guys are funny!
