Ta-Da! And a Question

Yup. I am a big enough sad knitting geek that I have had "knit" tattooed on the inside of my wrist. Like I'd forget to knit one day or something.
This guy is just above my ankle - He's about 10cm high - he's from the Edward Gorey Gashleycrumbtinies, which I love.

Now, the question - the face on the skull guy here. He's suppose to be smiling. It kind of changes the look of the face. Do I go back to the tattoo artist to get it fixed or do i leave well enough alone?

Get it fixed!! It's not the tat you wanted, so... I love the "knit" one. Hee hee! If you ever get hit on the end and have amnesia, you are SET.

Wow, those cleaned up nicely! I'm a big Gorey fan too. Hmmm.. maybe I should get one of his cats. (Not that I have any immediate plans for a tatoo, but if I did that would be a good one.)

You are a brave brave woman. Nice tats! I think I'd get it fixed (but that is because you are going to have to go under the neeedle and not me!)

I have to admit, that when I first saw it, I thought it was Mary Poppins!

So sod the smile, get it turned into Mary!

I LOVE Edward Gorey! I was introduced to him by a friend who gave me the Gashlycrumb Tinies. After all, A is for Amy who fell down the stairs.

I too love Edward Gorey. How about having just one corner of his mouth turned up, probably the one on the right side of his face as I look at the picture. I have always thought that people who can do things with just one eyebrow or one side of their face are extremely talented. btw, I can raise one eyebrow. Not that it matters :)

Oh, I like the "knit" tat. I would get the Edward Gorey tat fixed. It's not the way you wanted it and you're going to have to live with it. Course I don't even have any tats so it's easy for me to say.

Fix it! He doesn't look like he's smiling to me. I can't wait to get more tats. LOL

I love them both, they're too cool. I'd say fix it. You're the one who has to live with it for the rest of your life.

I love the knit one. So simple, yet it speaks of so great an insanity...

Oh, too cool! I love the knit.

Get the Gorey one fixed if it's not what you wanted. It's supposed to be your personal expression, not the tattoo artists.

Go back and have that man give you the tat you wanted. Otherwise, you're always going to think about it. LOVE the little "knit" on your wrist. Very cute.

You know, it strikes me as being rather metaphoric. Turn it into the smile you wanted.

To be completely honest, although it is supposed to be "exactly" what you wanted, considering the size of his mouth, and the overall amazingosity of this piece in general, the most i would do is add another line or two to make him smirking rather then try to change what's already there.
